Welcome to my dedicated online space, ‘a change of tide.’ Join me as I navigate the landscapes of my mind, my matter, and my spirit through this life we are all living. This space is an ode to the aspects of life I admire (or not), our humanness, the craft that goes into writing, into being a teacher, and into being — me.

Just as a tide always changes as it comes and goes, I hope to return to my shores with fresh perspectives and new knowings. To be the same, that is the true horror.

Briauna Robinson is a speculative writer, creative educator, and a multimedia artist exploring the profoundness of the human spirit, nature, and technology. She is a reader, too — drawn to fictional novels that leave the reader stunned and mystified. She adventures into various esoteric philosophies and the history of horror, eager to know more on how others may perceive the world around them.

Briauna is a first-generation scholar, earning her Bachelor’s degree in English and a MA in Fiction Creative Writing. She is currently a MFA candidate in Creative Writing in the Maslow Family Graduate Program and plans to continue her academics some way or another…

Briauna lives and writes in Pennsylvania, USA, where she’s most at peace in the mountains, amidst the pine trees, with her camera, journal, or book in hand.
